I started writing this post and labeled it “Goals March 2019” in case you want to know where my head’s at. Thankfully (and surprisingly) I haven’t made that mistake while writing checks yet, but I’m sure it’ll happen.
Hello, good morning, and welcome to my goals for March. February was a really good month, despite all the cold and rain, but I’m SO happy to see the first few signs of spring. It’s rejuvenating to walk outside and hear birds chirping and see the bright rays of the sun. With each new month, I like to celebrate a new set of goals here at My Pixie Blog; I find that writing them down helps to keep me accountable. If you have some goals of your own to share, link up below! Let’s take a look back at February to see how I did.
Try not to sweat the small stuff. This one is always a work in progress but I worked on that last month and I think I did a pretty good job of keeping it together. Bryan, Milo, and I had a mini getaway, the baby shower was a success, I made it through three doctor’s appointments and two hospital tours, I got a massage and my first facial, I survived a full day commuting and being in the city, I met friends for coffee and made plans to meet others for dinner. It was a busy month—which always helps an overactive mind Get our taxes done. CHECK! We even got our first check back for filing jointly this year Enjoy the heck out of my baby shower. I did. Indeed. But NEWS FLASH! I had a lot of anxiety in the days and weeks leading up to it. I’m not a fan of attention but in the end it was exactly what I wanted and it was nice to have so many of my favorite people gathered together in one room <3
Short and sweet wins the race, I think, so here go this month’s goals!
Finish the nursery. That means calling in an electrician, getting blinds and/or curtains up, assembling the crib, figuring out the bookcase situation, and adding wall hangings
Try and sleep as much as possible. This one needs no further explanation 🙂
Make it through at least one book. And maybe give up on a book if it’s just not exciting me (lookin’ at you, The Children’s Crusade)
Donate clothes to Goodwill that I was unable to sell on Poshmark. I have a lot of super cute stuff in my closet, if you guys want to have a look—if you see something you like, please feel free to make an offer!
And there you have it! What’s tops on your list this month? Look forward to hearing from you, and hope everyone is having a great week 🙂 XOXO
