What’s up, my sweet ones, and welcome to the weekend (FINALLY!). How was the week and what did you do? What’s on tap for the weekend? I’m keeping today’s blog post and gratitude short and sweet and linking up with my dear bloggy friends Lindsay and Beth (don’t forget to drop your post below so we can all follow each other!).
Seeing baby girl on an ultrasound machine. That actually wasn’t supposed to happen, but the new doctor I was meeting with saw I was a nervous wreck since I hadn’t yet felt the baby move and he asked if I’d like to see her (the practice I go to likes you to meet all of their physicians, which I think is a nice touch). He booted up a machine from the Prehistoric Age with the help of a midwife and I was able to see baby moving around to calm my nerves. What a sweet, sweet man and kind gesture <3
My last acupuncture session for a while. Complete with heater, a heat lamp on my feet, a wedge to get me comfortable, and a therapy session with my acupuncturist. I’ll miss her so much, but I’ll return in due time
Great performance review with my boss this morning in a cute little cafe in my neck of the woods
Getting sweet Christmas cards and the most thoughtful gifts in the mail
Universal Yums subscription box–my brother and his girlfriend gifted them to us for the holidays; each month you get treats from another corner of the world. Such a unique gift idea!
A Montclair date with a blogger friend (and yummy Israeli food to boot!)
Some quality time with my dad–we went to a play together and then binged a few episodes of Mrs. Maisel
The new pregnancy pillow Bryan bought as an early Christmas gift so I can finally sleep. It’s like being wrapped in a hug and I dunno how I ever lived without this in my life (also I finally slept ALL.NIGHT.LONG!)
My new planner for 2020 (full review to come soon!)
Supporting Bryan’s niece at her school holiday sale last night–she sold soaps, and we put a dent in her inventory (SOAPS TO LAST A LIFETIME, LOL)
