It’s that time of year again, my friends. The nights get a little colder, the sun sets a bit too soon, our bodies ache, our minds begin to wander (or maybe that’s just me). All year long I crave the Fall and yet, once it’s here, I have a hard time finding the motivation to do much of anything past 7pm on a weeknight. Anyone else?
Let’s dive into a currently list today. I originally had my goals post planned for today, but they’ll just have to wait.
Thinking about: what’s on tap for the day, workload wise. I just settled into my three-hour meeting at Starbucks and trying to dive into my list of to-dos. Someone send me some motivation, please!
Enjoying: the calm music in today’s Starbucks
Feeling: sleepy, but good
Wearing: An oversized pit bull sweatshirt that says “adopt” (so cute, one of the employees snapped a pic to gift to her daughter!), skinny jeans, and canvas striped slides
Needing: more food in my belly, immediately
Listening: to my coworkers chat
Making: plans for the weekend—Friday night I’m meeting a friend in the city (if anyone has restaurant recommendations in Chelsea, please let me know!), Sunday Bryan and I are going apple picking. Saturday is up for grabs, but grocery shopping and picking up leaves are both (sadly) on the agenda (#livinthedream)
Eating: just polished off a Cliff bar
Drinking: a Caramel Apple Spice from Starbucks. It might be my new favorite drink!
