Guess who’s late to the party again?! it’s a wonder sometimes that you keep me around, I mean really. HAPPY WEEKEND! By now I hope everyone is in the throes of summer and the weekend in particular, celebrating on a raft somewhere, nose deep in a book, enjoying some time away from the office. The weather is threatening rain today, but I don’t have anything on the agenda, so may go to the lake before it pours or take the dog for a long walk so we all get some much-needed exercise. Also 75% finished with one book and excited to hop on to the next. I have so many books out from the library that I need to finish before I get hit with late dues, so hoping to catch up this weekend.
Let’s dive in to the happy moments from this past week and forget that today is actually Saturday! Each week I partner with Lindsay and Beth and we share our gratitude in a linky (add your posts below and make some new friends!). Looking forward to getting caught up with you all this afternoon 🙂
Weird and unexpected (but very exciting) news
Tomboy X bralettes. I received two for a review and I have worn them just about all week. If you are a bit top heavy, these are really great–and they’re super soft to boot! I don’t recommend as a sports bra, since they have no support, but they’re very comfortable and provide full-day coverage
Exciting new partnerships with great brands
Great acupuncture session. I really love my acupuncturist so much and just wish it were fully covered by my insurance so I could go every week (if you are local to NJ, and looking for one, hit me up–SHE IS AMAZING and I feel like I won the lottery since I started going to see her
We received a surprise Barkbox from our realtor and Milo loved his box (and the viking theme!). It was such a sweet gesture, and just goes to show that there are some truly incredible people in this world <3 Thanks, Christine!!
Meeting with an officiant (our friend’s father and the sweetest man ever)! By this time next week, Bryan and I will be officially husband and wife (so crazy!). We’ll eventually get around to planning a small, intimate ceremony with friends/family (hopefully in the fall), but I’m excited to get the ball rolling so I can get on his insurance asap (ever the romantic, aren’t I?)
