Today is National Oreo day and I’m really bummed I don’t have a single Oreo in my cupboard. I don’t know the last time I had one. Will it taste as fluffy and crunchy and chocolatey as I remember? Anyway, that’s not why you’re here, but if you live in the area and feel like dropping off some cookies, they are always appreciated. Speaking of cookies, I’m working on something fun for you kids. A personalized cookie giveaway! I’m just the gift that keeps on giving today ? ha!
I assume you’d like to know how I did during the month of February. Let’s take a look back at those goals!
Reach 10K steps 3-4 times a week—YES!! I mean, I guess it wasn’t a total coincidence that I picked the shortest month of the year to up my fitness goals but I’ve been counting my steps diligently and have really broken the 10k mark a few times a week.
Week 1: hit 10K step count 5 days
Week 2: hit 10K step count 6 days
Week 3: hit 10K step count 5 days
Week 4: hit 10K step count 3 days (short week)
Return to fostering—yes! We welcomed this little nugget into our lives and he’s been a total mush!
Book a vacation—gah! Sadly, no… BUT all hope is not lost. I’m stalking Travelzoo each week for deals and have nailed down some dates. Hopefully, HOPEFULLY this is the month we finally book something because I need outta’ here for a while
Explore (and maybe purchase) a new Instagram preset—also no, but I did look at a few. I may pick this up again next month, but eh. What do you think of my feed? What should I add more of? Fashion? Lifestyle? Food? Bruno?
Here are some goals for March:
- Vacation. Book it already (so you can stop seeing this each month, ha!)
- Continue reaching 10k steps 3-4 times a week; also use the exercise bike in our house at least once a week; go the gym 2x a week
- Cook at least 3 meals each week at home
- Go on more playdates with friends. I’ve been feeling so cooped up lately and time with girls is always good for the soul <3
