And Charlotte realized she mistakenly packed away all the pumpkins and autumn décor in favor of Christmas shit because she found the cutest faceless gnomes and also three little birds and a mini white Christmas tree at Home Goods and Target, respectively.
My rhyming skills SUCK, eh?
Good morning, sweet peas! How is everyone’s short week coming along? I am just now recovering from a Monday night in Manhattan with coworkers for our annual holiday party. This year we went on a Circleline cruise on the Hudson River followed by dinner at Dos Caminos in the Meat Packing district. We had a great time, even though some parts of the evening are a bit fuzzy because there was a lot of tequila and wine involved. Also that’s a terrible combination that I don’t recommend for anyone.
N. E. Way.
This will be the first year that I won’t be celebrating Thanksgiving with my family, which makes me a little sad if I’m being completely honest. Even though the Kleins are a bunch of misfits, they are my misfits, but Bryan and I decided that it’s just too much running around in a day and I’m relieved that we won’t have to drive all ends of the tristate area to stuff our faces. Tomorrow afternoon, we’ll be meeting his family for lunch and then we’ll have his parents, sister, and her children over for coffee and desserts. It’s the first time we’re really hosting company so tonight I’ll be cleaning and moving furniture and possibly hanging paintings.
Wow, this post is FILLED with run-on sentences. Sorry about that, folks.
I’m keeping it short and sweet today. Mainly because the coffee hasn’t quite set in yet and I have a few client phone calls to make so really need to harness whatever brain power I have. Here’s wishing you all a very happy and healthy Thanksgiving; I’m sending all my love to you and your families. Also! There are only a few hours left to enter the canvas giveaway on my blog. Click here and good luck! XO

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving , Charlotte to you and yours! I had to smile at the the idea you have set up your Christmas décor already. Me, too! I’m decorating the tree tonight. Sounds like a nice holiday plan for you two. Hosting will be lovely in your new home 🙂
Sounds like a fun holiday party! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving, and hopefully not running around all day will be the best decision. Plus, you get to host people at your new place! Fun!

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Those bird decorations are so cute!
I’ve only had a few Thanksgivings in my life without my parents – last year being one of them. It was so different. This year felt like home again but Scarlet didn’t think it did? Who knows!
Wishing you the happiest of belated Thanksgivings.
Sometimes a quiet Thanksgiving can be nice 🙂 and you still get to see people and host (!) at your new place.
