Good morning, my dear ones. Thank you so much for all your sweet messages and texts and emails and love notes. They have cheered me up more than you know and I am feeling SO much better. Sometimes I have moments of sadness and I think that’s normal given the circumstances of the surgery (and my fear that this was either all in vain or will prevent pregnancy in the future), but overall I’m excited to put this chapter behind me. Onwards and upwards, as they say 🙂
Bryan. He gets top spot this week J he sat by my bedside in the hospital and helped me to the bathroom and down the corridor for evening walks. I made him sleep at home night two so he could get a good night’s rest, but he returned the next morning at 6:30 because he said the house didn’t feel right without me. Be still, my beating heart
The nurses at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville, NJ. I have so much renewed respect for all that they do and go through (the patient next door to me threw her phone and belongings at them after they were late getting her meds. Yikes!)
Taking it slow and being easy on my body. It’s all I can do <3
Going through old Halloween photos—related: seeing all the adorable trick-or-treaters this week. They were all so well-behaved!
Our new Ninja coffee bar. That thing is amazing!
A visit from Buster’s other mommy and a nice long chat
Getting our sweet boy back. Buster is always missed when he’s not here, but it was good to have a few days of recovery, without him kicking me in bed. Ha!
Watching the leaves fall
The Haunting of Hill House. You guys. It’s creeping me out so much but I’m obsessed
Hiring painters to go over the black chalk board paint in the living room (yes, really!); I can’t wait to see what it looks like when it’s done. Before and after pics to come
