What’s up, weekend 1/12

– Posted in: featured

Hi my sweet ones, and happy Friday! If this is your first time here, welcome and I’m so happy to have you! <3 Each week, I link up with Lindsay and Beth as well as some of the fabulous peeps in our Peaceful Posse Facebook group (pssst! Have you joined yet?!) to share gratitude. It’s a wonderful practice, and one that helps me stay rooted. Can’t wait to read your responses this week.

On to the weekly gratitude!

First and foremost, I’m grateful that Buster appears to be doing much better after his vet visit. We’re not totally out of the woods, and I’m not even sure the vet knows what’s going on with the shakes, but his pancreatic value was high so we’ll make changes to his diet (low fat = no more cheese/peanut butter!)

Warmer weather! Good lord, it felt like a heatwave this week and I soaked up every minute

Helping neighbors in need

Vegan lasagna (I have a funny story to go along with this, which I’ll share on the blog—along with a full recipe next week)

Meeting with my fertility doctor to discuss next steps—I feel a little less hopeless than I did at the end of 2017

Starting my email marketing course—and feeling inspired

Baby shower for a dear friend this weekend

Shopping date with my momma

Sharing adventures in house hunting with my best friend

Returning to the gym; it’s been a long hiatus but it felt good

Sounds like a great week, Charlotte. I’m delighted to hear you’re feeling more hopeful on the fertility front. That’s great news! Where do you and your momma like to shop?

Hello my dear! Sounds like you had a good week with some positive developments! I’m glad that Buster is a bit better and I’ll keep hoping that things are on the up and up with him! I’m also glad you have a good meeting with your fertility doctor and next steps. I’m always thinking of you. I can’t wait to hear your lasagna story! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! XOXO

OHH vegan lasagna! I’ve made vegetarian lasagna before but going all the way sounds super fun and yummy. I’ve made mine with eggplant and some with spinach. MMMMMmmm eggplant.
I’m so happy to hear that you’re feeling good and more positive on the fertility front. I’ll continue to keep all the things crossed for you both.
And cheers to this warmer weather! Well for like a blink of an eye. We had two days worth and now it’s snowing again. Oh bother….cue eeyore sounds 😉

Yay for returning to the gym (good job, girl!) … can’t wait to feel 100% again so I can get back to running!

Also happy to hear that Buster is doing better and I love shopping trips with mom (can’t wait to see mine hopefully in a couple of months!).

Happy weekend Charlotte! Good to hear Buster is doing better! It felt like a heat wave here too and now it’s freezing and sleeting and snowing again. This winter is keeping us on our toes!

Plans always help to make you feel more hopeful, don’t they? I didn’t realize it until a coworker pointed it out, but lately my “catch phrase” had been: “let’s take a step back and make a plan before we start running in the wrong direction.” I think it gives us control when we feel we have none.

Always good to return to the gym after a break. Lol about enjoying the heat…I love summers but we have had some crazy heatwaves here. On Sunday, Sydney was the hottest place on the planet. No jokes. And I lost power that day for 6 hours. Have a wonderful weekend!

Glad Buster is doing better!
Returning to the gym after a break always feels like a massive effort but it is so worth it afterwards 🙂
Hope you enjoyed your shopping trip with your Mom and had a great weekend.

I’m sooooo late! Lol! Looks like your week last week was good! I went back to the gym Monday after being off all last week and holy bananas was that ugly!! But good to get back though.

Glad you’re a bit more optimistic about the fertility stuff, love. I know that’s really heavy stuff, and beyond stressful….

I want to make vegan lasagna! I can’t wait to read your recipe.

Try and keep your chin up re Buster. Sometimes this happens with older age. It happened to my moms dog Oliver… do the best you can, love on him like you do and he’ll be just fine. You’re doing a great job hun, really. And I know he means so much to you and you worry like crazy… *hugs*

Are you around on Sunday?? Skype? Or next weekend??

Love you babe. xoxoxo

I really need to return to the job. It’s been.. ages..
I’ll be in Livingston this week at a cafe called Sweet Basil’s. Somehow it makes me think of you.
And I’m glad Buster is doing better!

“Return to the job” = “return to the gym.” I’m tired!
