A bit late to the party, but hope I’m still fashionable 🙂 How is everyone’s month so far, and did everyone have a nice weekend? It was pretty slow/quiet on my end; we had another cold blast in the Northeast so I tried to limit my time outdoors (I’m also still recovering from a cold) but I did some grocery shopping/meal planning, blog post writing, reading, TV viewing, doggy snuggling, and managed to give myself a pedicure. Temps will resume back to normal starting this week and it’ll be good to see double digits again (30 degrees! Feels like a heat wave, ha!).
But you’re not here to talk about the weather, I don’t think. Let’s see how we did in December!
Read as many books as possible – eh. I read two; Diary of a Beautiful Disaster by Kristin Bartzokis which I didn’t enjoy as much as I thought I would and Made for Love by Alissa Nutting which was also just so-so for me
See friends frequently – did this! Phish and dinners; phone conversations and texts with friends I wasn’t able to see in person
Practice more yoga/mindful meditation – halfsies. I did practice more mindfulness, but not enough yoga
Examine options for growth in the new year. – spent a large portion of break thinking about my job and where it’s heading and I’m determined to learn all I can about influencer marketing in 2018
Put aside $400 for house fund – I’ve been selling some things in Facebook groups and have hustled for freelance gigs, but alas all the money went to paying off bills and Christmas
Spread cheer to friends and anyone in need of a pick-me-up (this time of year can do things to people) – this was a biggie and I tried to do this as often as possible <3
Continue the house search – yes, but coming up empty
Play Christmas music and do holiday things – heck yea!
Not terrible, I suppose but I’d definitely love to improve on this in January.
Use my crockpot more frequently and cook at least two meals a week
Start the new e-course I enrolled in (about newsletter marketing) and purchase at least one more course about pitching to brands. This month, I learn!
No more slacking—we need to put money aside for home. Set aside $400. No excuses!
Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. What’s on your list of goals this month, sweet ones? I look forward to reading! XOXO
