I was not compensated for this post. I received product from LoveBook in exchange for this review; all opinions are entirely my own. This post was originally published on December 7; with Valentine’s Day just around the corner (and vacation brain setting in!), I thought I’d repurpose this one to help anyone in need of a gift for their certain someone.
I’m really big on book making. I love collecting memories after a vacation and scrapbooking them together in an album. In an attempt to live my life mostly offline these days, sometimes these books are where I go when I want to relive a special time or a vacation memory (and a place to dump those extra ticket stubs and pamphlets that would otherwise clutter my desk).
I was approached recently by LoveBook to create a personalized book; of course I jumped at the opportunity. I was excited to make a comic book featuring the adventures of Bryan and Charlotte and figured it would be an adorable way to share my thoughts on our relationship in a way that I’ve always been able to do best—through my writing.
What’s great about LoveBook is that you really can customize and get as creative as you like! There are some pages, for example, that are too cheeky for me to share here, but I loved having the option of putting those in, too!
This project came together quickly and is SO fun and sweet to look through. Bryan and I really enjoyed leafing through the pages when it first arrived (not to toot my own horn, but I think he was impressed with my creative captions and funny storytelling).
Also I think I captured our likeness; what do you think?
LoveBook is a really cute gift for anniversaries, birthdays, the holidays, or just because. They are available at a reasonable price point and if you click here, you’ll even an extra 10% off!
Here are some other occasions where you can gift your own love/friendship book:
