First things first, let me send a quick note of thanks for all your sweet tweets and comments in response to my last post. My mom has always been a superhero to me. Granted, she drives me up a wall most of the time, but I love her so much and she has made me realize what sacrifice for love truly means.

Well, it’s been a week and I’m kind of grateful that it’s over (can I add that to my list? HA!). That said, there were quite a few other GOOD things that happened that I’m unbelievably grateful for so let’s jump right in then, shall we? And don’t forget to link up with Krysten and Lindsay!

  • Sweet potato, corn, and black bean enchiladas (click here for the recipe). SO easy to prepare and so delicious to stuff in your mouth
  • My wooden watch from JORD just arrived in the mail yesterday and it is BEAUTIFUL! I am seriously impressed with the craftsmanship and love that it’s ecofriendly/sustainable. One of you lucky readers will have the chance to win your very own—stay tuned, giveaway coming next week!

    Please disregard my werewolf arm

  • Having a job I totally love. Even on days when I have a setback or a bad experience with a blogger, the work I do is challenging, fun, and creative. I feel like all the twisty roads I’ve taken in my career have led me here
  • SUNSHINE! I’ve never been so happy to bask in the sun as I was this week
  • Going to the park with Buster. It’s so cute to see how excited he gets peeing and smelling everything
  • Bachelorette party this weekend! Now I have to figure out what to wear… sexy leggings/heels or a dress?
  • Almost finished with the book Baby Proof by Emily Giffin. I gotta’ be honest; I’m not really a fan… BUT I AM excited to start Ruthless by Ronald Miscavige (father of Scientology leader David Miscavige and his escape from the religion)
  • Caramel latte with soymilk

What’s on your grateful list this week?

Great list!! Love the watch! I would go with leggings and heels but I’m obsessed with leggings.

Ooh, Ruthless sounds interesting! I can’t wait to hear what you think. And that watch looks gorgeous. Have a wonderful weekend!

Warm sunshine makes the biggest difference of her! Although it looks like we still have a few obstacles before we have consistent summer weather. Can’t wait!
Now you have me in the mood for enchiladas.
I feel the same way about my career. I feel meant to be doing this. Although I’m on the other end of things, I think!

I am super excited about the sunshine too. It’s been way too long without it. Some Emily Giffin books I like, and some I don’t. It’s hit or miss. That other book sounds really intriguing. May have to add it to my list after your review.

You made me hungry, I know what to have for dinner. Then the carmel Latte! We think alike.

Sunshine is such a gift, and the enchiladas sound amazing 🙂

Cute watch. Didn’t the nice weather sneak up on us and suddenly appear? It’s a delight to be outdoors now.

I need a job I love that can pay my student loan. :-/
“Ruthless” sounds good & I’m always down for a soy caramel latte.
Have a fun weekend! I’m sure you’ll look great in what ever you wear to the Bachelorette party.

Let me know how the Miscavige book is. Scientology is fascinating and so fkd up. We’ve watched a ton of documentaries on it.

I hope you’re having a great weekend, and enjoyed yourself at the bachelorette party babe!! Xoxo

I am salivating now that I clicked through to look at the pics on that enchilada recipe. Mmmmm….going to check that one out. Hope you are having a fun weekend 🙂

Nice grateful list, Charlotte! I think leggings and heels would be cute for the bachelorette party. Easy to dance in and comfy. That said, it’s Sunday now so I suppose that has happened already and I hope it was a blast! The Miscavige book looks interesting. I saw the 60 minutes interview with the father and his story. Quite disturbing!

I’m grateful for girlfriends this weekend. Laughs, drinks, dancing!
