As many of you know, I have recently had to say goodbye to a very awesome dog Bryan and I fostered for roughly two months. While Princess Penelope goes to live out the rest of our happy dog years in her new home, there is a big hole in my heart which is why I was so excited when an opportunity came in to do this review.
Acrylic Pix can take any picture and turn it into a digital masterpiece on both acrylic and metal. I chose the metal option and am super excited that this picture will soon grace our ever-growing “wall of dogs.”
This photo, taken just before Christmas, truly showcases Penelope’s darling personality. She wouldn’t sit still for all of five seconds to pose in front of the tree and kept crawling closer so we could rub noses. I love how the colors seem to dance off the print, and that the festive lights on the tree come alive against the metal backdrop. The result is really amazing and it’s much nicer than any other print we have on display in our apartment (though I hope you will forgive my lopsided camera-taking abilities).
Printing photos on acrylic is like high definition television, but in a photo form. Colors are striking, rich and shiny. Have a black-and-white photo? It will look great in acrylic, too! Acrylic prints make very chic art and can quickly liven up your walls. Printing your photo on metal gives it a matted look with a more contemporary feel. Any part of the image that is white for prints on metal will come out looking like brushed aluminum.
Whether you’re looking for the perfect Valentine’s Day present or if you are shopping for a unique gift for yourself or a loved one, this is a really neat and unique way to print your favorite picture on acrylic. I’m so incredibly happy with the way the Penelope picture came out, that I’m considering transferring some of our Ireland pictures to acrylic (or metal) photos for the wall, too!
