Oh, happy day. Welcome to Friday and I hope it’s just as glorious where you are as it is here in midtown Manhattan. Though there’s a very large part of me that would much rather be curled up at home with little Pedro (I’ve been dogsitting my parent’s sweet Griffon for the week), I have to work hard for the money, too, right?
It’s been a hectic week and I’m very much looking forward to blue skies, warm weather, sundresses, and multiple trips to the park with the little one this weekend. Having Bryan stay with me for the past week has been quite nice and a good glimpse into what a living situation might be like with him. It’s reassuring to know Pedro is in good hands when I leave to go to work and that there are only a few hours where he’s left to fend for himself. Pedro is a total hit in Hoboken with men and women who ask about his breed and want to pet him (I’ve been approached more times in the past week than I ever have sitting in a bar). He seems to get along with other dogs as well (he tends to favor the ladies and gets a bit aggressive with the males. Sounds pretty much like every other dude I know!). I love taking him for walks and watching him casually stroll into the bars in town like he owns the joint.
I received an overwhelming response to the Shabby Apple Giveaway and I’m extremely pleased to report that Carma of Carma Sez will soon be the recipient of a $50 gift card (thanks to Random.org). She had her sights set on this lovely Toe the Line dress which I think will look absolutely stunning on her.
AND please congratulate her for one more thing, too: She has just graduated and school is officially over for her! Well, she’ll have her clinical to look forward to this summer, but for all intents and purposes the hard part’s over. Congrats, Carma!!
Many thanks to all who entered and fret not: there will be other giveaways in the future.
Wishing you all the best for a happy and healthy weekend and I’ll catch you on the flipside! XOXO
