What’s up, weekend 2/2

– Posted in: featured

Good morning, my sweet ones, and happy weekend! If I’m being honest, I’m not feeling 100% this morning. Last night was filled with tossing and turning and fighting the urge to puke every five minutes. Bryan experienced the same and at 2am, we both chatted about whether or not this was the flu or something else, but regardless it sucked and it’s been lingering with various degrees of intensity for weeks. WHAT IS THIS?!

Anyway, HIIIIII!!! Each Friday, I link up with my little butterflies Beth and Lindsay and we share our weekly gratitude. Let’s dive in! I’m sending you all fairy dust, sprinkles, and senior dogs to snuggle, because they are the best and puppies always get all the attention.

My list of gratitude:

My Sephora order came in yesterday! I shared an unboxing on instagram and am excited to sample all the goods. Thanks to Sheryl and Lindsay for hosting the $150 giftcard giveaway!

SO many sponsored posts in the works! Next up: Babbleboxx Date Night Done Right featuring Edible Arrangements and a bunch of other fun goods. Stay tuned!

Getting to see a home yesterday that I really loved. House hunting can take a toll mentally so I’m keeping fingers crossed that Bryan likes it as much as I do when we go to see it together on Sunday

A trip to Denville, NJ—every time I’m there, I imagine myself living there. I picked up lunch at a quaint natural health food store and chatted with the cashier. Good vibes in that town <3

Updates from Buster’s momma—he’s doing so much better, and unlike me, a bit less barfy these days. Poor little man

My parents. They drive me nuts, but I am so appreciative of their love, support, and friendship

Getting to see my bestie for dinner tonight. It’s been way too long and we have a lot to catch up about. Also, I still have her Christmas present!

10,000 Maniacs Unplugged. Been on repeat in my car

What’s on tap for you this weekend, my sweet ones? Let me know in the comments, and I hope everyone enjoys the Superbowl!

My husband has been going through the same thing. He was very sick in December but seemed to be over it – but – every other week it tries to come back. It’s frustrating for him because he’s not sleeping well but can’t keep taking time off each time.

I hope everything comes together for you with the house this weekend. House hunting and moving are two of life’s very stressful things lol

Sorry to hear you’ve both been feeling yucko! Hopefully that goes away soon! I’m glad to hear Buster’s doing better though. And I really hope Bryan loves the house you found as much as you do. I’m thinking good thoughts for you as always. Have a great weekend my dear! XOXO

I hope you start feeling better soon! There is a lot of nasty stuff going around right now. I have been diffusing my on guard to help keep germs away and so far *knock on wood* I’ve avoided all the ick going around.

Sheryl February 2, 2018, 11:27 AM

I hope you and Brian begin to feel better. There have been several viruses going around in addition to the flu and I had one in December that took two weeks to truly get over. Just take care of yourself. XOXO Crossing my fingers about that house.

It looks like there were a lot of positive things during the week despite feeling yucky. Missouri/Kansas are the epicenter of this flu endemic. I work in a Social Services office and I have had to ask people to leave because they said they had tested positive for the flu.
I hope you have a great weekend and you feel better.

Oooh, sorry to hear about the nausea. That’s worst ever. Hope it doesn’t turn into anything more serious. Get lots of rest. Enjoy dinner out with your friend tonight! Lots of good things here, Charlotte. I look forward to your sponsored posts. Good for you!

Awesome conversations with cashiers are everything – I know this, because right now, sometimes, I am one! Here’s to the expedient termination of your barfy feeling – Pronto. This weekend: A tournament, two Target shifts, and a turkey in the oven for Super Bowl Sunday (named Tom Turkey Brady – can you guess who we’re rooting for?)

Hope you feel better, bud. And parents… of course they annoy us while, at the same time, we love them. All part of the equation.

Yay for all the sponsored posts! I love that lingerie set. So pretty and perfect for Valentine’s! Have a great weekend, beautiful.

Sorry you haven’t been feeling well and hope you are all better by the time you read this. What a fun little date night box! I love anything that helps spice up the evening for a couple. 🙂

WEEKS of nausea?! If it were just you, I’d have more theories. But Bryan too? Weird! I hope you both feel better.
That’s the BEST Babbleboxx ever! I want a bra!
Also, text me next time you go to Denville. My brother lives there and my sister lives right by there and she would love to meet you! Ok, really I would and I’d get horribly jealous.

Hope you both are feeling better soon!

Hope you went well with looking at the house you liked. House hunting is stressful! Woohoo for all the sponsored stuff! Hope you had a good weekend and have a great week ahead!

I miss my parents so much. I talk to them 3-4 times per week and I don’t care if people judge me for it. 😉

Yah for the Sephora order. I haven’t been to Sephora in forever and I want to go.

Lindsay February 9, 2018, 6:42 AM

Hey girl,
I’ll have to look for your Sephora unboxing. I can only imagine the goodies. You’re so lucky you won such an awesome giveaway. Awesome just like you. 😉
That’s so nice Busters other momma keeps you updated on the little man.
Girl you sure you’re not pregnant?! I know Bryan wasn’t feeling great but really… ?

Miss you and love you. Hopefully we can connect this weekend. Xoxo
