Believe it or not, I’m really not much of a drinker. Sure, I have my favorites (looking at you, Riesling and Pinot Grigio), but when I get together with friends and I have to order from the bar, I never what to choose and then I panic and get my ol’ standby (typically Captain and Coke, BORING!).
I recently discovered not just one, but TWO drinks that are delicious straight out of the bottle, to add to your coffee (when you need that extra oomph to get you through the morning), or to turn into a decadent frozen cocktail.
I have a clear favorite here, but to be honest, they are both absolutely delicious and this is all a matter of taste.
They are both so damn yummy, you guys.
Coco Mochanut is a premium Caribbean rum made with cream, chocolate, coconut, and coffee flavors. It reminds me a bit of an Almond Joy (must be the coconut) and it is heavenly. It’s light and refreshing and I bet this would taste delicious as a popsicle on a hot summer day, or as a shot on a cold winter’s night.
Then I tried the Nilli Vanilli—a blend of rum, almond milk, cookie, and caramel. I don’t even know where to begin with this one. It’s smooth, buttery, mudslide-y, and a perfect accompaniment to your holiday parties this year. It’s also gluten free and vegan, so obviously I’m all about this. Seriously, if you’re looking for something for that hard-to-shop-for friend in your life with a sweet tooth, look no further 🙂
I’m so glad I had the chance to try these two flavors, and I’m hoping these are the gateway drinks that inspire me to expand my horizons with the drinks I order.
