Custom made granola? Yes, please!

– Posted in: featured

I was not compensated for this post. I received granola from Bear Naked in exchange for a review; all opinions are entirely my own.

I had no intention of sharing this today.

I actually was about 75% finished with a different post entirely but it didn’t feel ready. And I’ve been a bit protective of sharing my words before they’re finished. Does that ever happen to you?

Back when I was in high school and Tori Amos posters decorated all corners of my bedroom (so we’re talking about a million years ago), I remember listening to an interview she gave about song writing and how each of her songs became her children. It seemed like a bizarre thing to say, but all these years later, I truly GET IT.

Anyway, I’m really off track here.

Where were we?

Oh, yes. Today’s post.

I want to talk to you about granola. Don’t look at me like that. It’s totally related!

I had the most delicious bowl of it the other day and I would be remiss if I didn’t share it with you because that’s just the kind of blogger friend that I am. Also, I didn’t know that granola subscription services existed and I feel like I need to share this with you all.

Behold. A canister of Pixiedust granola, created by yours truly.

Bear Naked now offers users the chance to mix and match and create their own unique blends. I guess that’s why this has now become my very favorite granola ever—it’s made with all of my favorite things! The raspberries and cacao really complement each other and the pecans give this blend an added crunch. It’s a bit sweet but not overpowering and the canister is a really generous size for what you get (and especially considering the prices of granola these days).

Their granolas ship for free and users have a chance to save 10% for a limited time (simply click on the banner below). You could also make granola for that hard-to-shop-for-friend in your life if you happen to know their favorite food combos—name their blend and add a pic (which will then be imposed on a bear) and voila. Instant and thoughtful gift.

What would you add to your granola if you could create any combo?! Let me know in the comments!

I love granola. And I love bears. And creating my own thing. This seems like a win in my book! I love this! And I understand about a post not being ready to go, if you’re not comfortable with it, you can’t let it out there until you are. <3

Oh, I love this idea. I don’t really eat much granola but I think this idea would make me more interested since I can customize it. I know my mom would be a fan of it too. Thanks for sharing – and good luck with the other post you’re working on.

This is so amazing! OMG! I need some like right now. Plus naming granola for my hubs who is obsessed with granola would be a great gift!

What a great idea! That’s so smart of Bare Naked to offer that option. I would go nuts trying out different combinations.

This looks so cool! I need to check this out. I’m pretty particular when it comes to granola and I’ve only found one that I approve of. 😂

I love granola. I’ve been baking my own, but I would totally give this one a try!

Also: I totally get that you don’t want to post a blog post that isn’t ready… I know that feeling. Sometimes posts take a really long time to be ready to be shared 😉

P.S. How much is in the box?

As a fellow Tori Amos fan, I GET IT TOO. They’re all our babies! Precious.
Also, this granola has raspberries in it so I’m automatically going to guy a shipment of it.
