Happy list and linky 3/17

– Posted in: featured

I dunno about you, but this was a really beautiful and transformative week. The universe continues to impress me by sending signs to let me know I am on a good path in life. On St. Patrick’s Day especially, I feel incredibly lucky to have the best family in the world, incredible friends, a job I truly love, and support from the blog community. Please also be sure to follow Lindsay and Chrissy–not only are they admins for our new Facebook group, they are wonderfully supportive bloggers and I am so excited to partner with them because they have amazing ideas which we’re soon going to be rolling out! Let’s move on to this week’s happy, shall we?
  • Indian food with my bestie (I haven’t seen her in ages! She hasn’t changed! I love that        we get together and laugh like we’re still in high school all over again!)
  • Seeing friends for an 80s-themed 40th birthday party (lots of Madonna and even the        Mr. Belvedere theme song!)
  • Meeting up with my coworkers for brunch—click here to see photographic evidence
  • Seeing the unbelievable support that has come in since publishing this post and        watching the Peaceful Posse group grow into something quite magical
  • SO MUCH SNOW! It was nice to have Bryan WFH one day this week
  • Spending 10 minutes to wrestle Buster into his booties but it’s worth it for these        pictures alone

When you’re miserable as hell but still sexy AF

  • Discovering the calm app and trying to get back into daily meditation practices
  • Getting caught up on life. It was a really busy week and I’m looking forward to some        reading/writing/relaxing over the weekend

What about you, guys? What’s on your happy list today? XOXO

Lovelovelove your focus on positivity here and I *so* notice how much of your list has to do with connecting with others. That, my dear friend, is ALL heart + ALL you! <3 (**And your pup in booties is everything!!)

So excited to be a part of the Peaceful Posse with you ladies. <3
I used to use the calm app! I deleted it from my phone but I think I could use some meditation in my life.

I would be down for an 80’s party or Indian food. Both sound awesome right now. And Buster in booties is so cute, but he doesn’t look like he enjoys them as much as you do. 🙂

I LOVE Buster’s booties and I can imagine the struggle getting them onto his feet! haha Would be the same struggle with our Kyra!
I cannot believe you got so much snow when the temps here have been magically warm and the sun has been out all week! But we are said to get rain all weekend – boo!
So proud of The Peaceful Posse and so grateful for all the support from everyone!
Have a wonderful weekend, sweetie! Love ya xxx

AWWWEEE. Poor Buster, I hear you darling. It’s never glamourous getting all bundled up for these cold-ass winters, but you certainly looking handsome as heck! 😉

Girl, you’re such a ray of sunshine and I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about you and Christina both. I’m feeling so full and happy today, I feel like I’m walking on sunshine. It has truly been a great week and it’s only just begun…. 🙂

Much love darling and have yourselves a wonderful weekend. I’m sure I’ll be chatting with you (duh!? 🙂 ).

Those dog booties! I’m dying of cuteness. I’ve thought about getting some for our pups, but I am so sure they would be mad at me and take them off.

Also, I’m FINALLY linking up with you. 🙂

Aw, I love Buster’s little booties! He’s adorable! I’m glad you had a nice week with lots of time with friends. That’s always nice. 🙂 I feel like I haven’t spent much time with friends in awhile so I’ll have to try and plan something soon.

p.s. I’m loving the Facebook group! Positiveness is great.

Those booties!!! Too much cuteness! That birthday party sounded like so much fun. Mr. Belvedere theme song?!?! Awesome.

Karen M Peterson March 18, 2017, 6:59 AM

I need to know more about this calm app.

Buster is so freaking cute!

An 80s themed party sounds awesome. I should have done that for my birthday!

Tamara March 18, 2017, 12:09 PM

YUP. Dogs in booties! That’s the ticket. I remember my dog hating them but she looked so cute in them, that I couldn’t resist.
I love that those of us turning 40 now or in the next few years all lived through the fabulous 80’s.

Akaleistar March 18, 2017, 4:01 PM

Love the calm app, and Buster is so cute in his booties 🙂

Sheryl March 18, 2017, 8:38 PM

So Buster in his booties has just about made my night!! Don’t you love when the universe provides those signs that you are moving and doing everything in the right direction. Have you finished Gabby’s book? Let me know your thoughts! Thank you for all of the love you are putting out into the world. (PS, I got blocked too and it feel so good) XOXO

I swear reading your posts reminds me of myself so much. Is that creepy? LOL I am on a journey right now while working on my yoga teacher training. It really is accurate to say that you learn so much about yourself during this training. It also has allowed me to see I am on the right track. There are signs everywhere. I am not so great a meditating yet, but it is a huge part of my training. I spent all weekend in training and we meditated a lot. It brings me great anxiety, but I’m told its normal when working through my stuff. I would love to chat about your practice sometime when you get back to it!

I just recently met up with an old friend to eat Indian Curry. Now every time I think about it, my stomach growls. SOOOOOOOO GOOD.
80’s music is the best, especially for a dance party <3

Shannon March 20, 2017, 9:08 PM

OMG the booties hahahha I tried those on daisy once and it just did not end well…lol

Dean March 30, 2017, 11:31 AM
