Celebrate life’s events with Paperless Post (and a fun giveaway!)

– Posted in: featured, sponsored post

This giveaway is a partnership with Nakturnal—all opinions are entirely my own.

I’m a lover of a dying art—the written word—both literally and figuratively. I love receiving letters, mailing cards, journaling, calligraphy, and seeing handwriting scribbled across an envelope. It’s not often that we physically write things down anymore, unless it’s in the form of a to-do list or grocery shopping, and I certainly don’t receive cards in the mail the way I used to.

I kind of really miss it. I also miss sending notes and letters “just because” and was recently reminded that yet another holiday season came and went without Buster in an ugly Christmas sweater. FOR SHAME!

Here is last year’s ridiculous Christmas card. Can you even stand it with the floppy ear??

I have been to so many life events over the years, I’ve lost track of them all—from engagement and bachelorette parties to weddings and baby showers. Most of those invites were sent to me the old-fashioned way—signed, sealed, and delivered. I’ve held on to my favorites because of the beautiful presentation and recently found out about a company that has an incredible selection of all kinds of stationary and greeting cards, for weddings, birthdays, Valentine’s Day, and even baby boy shower invitations. This company has some seriously gorgeous designs, including options from Kate Spade New York and Rifle Paper Co.–perfect for any special occasion in your life.

Here are just a few of my favorite greeting cards:

I, too, love real mail and refuse to give it up. I’ll be the last gal sending paper cards to friends. Always nice to see a pic of Buster!

How fun – Love the cards you shared. I’m a big fan of physical mail as well. It just means a lot. I have a friend in NY and we send random cards/letters to each other and I love it!
