Friday Linky 1/27

– Posted in: featured

Hi, my sweets! I’ve been coming down with something (whatever’s been passed around lately) and am surrounded by an army of tissues and cold meds. Thank god for Dayquil and Nyquil. They deserve their spot in the grateful list this week.

As always, I’d love to hear from you—let me know what’s making you smile in your corner of the world these days! Don’t forget to link up with Lindsay and Krysten and please don’t use this as a link dump—engage, interact, and get to know some of your fellow bloggers!

My grateful list of the week:

Dayquil and Nyquil

Date with the very lovely blogger behind Bashfully Bold in Hoboken

Getting a few more sponsored posts come in this week—perfect timing because I’m still paying off Jamaica

The Bachelor. Yea, I said it

Buster doing cute Buster-y things. If you don’t already follow his Facebook page, you should, if only to watch him eat pizza crust, lol

A trip to see my parents—and a viewing of the movie Hail Caesar with my dad. Coen Brothers movies have always been our thing and we found one neither of us had already seen, to which my dad endearingly responded with “cool!” Aww, pops <3

Rediscovering Ani Difranco and pumping Little Plastic Castle on drives (Bryan liked the ska)

Getting together with an old friend this weekend. It’s been too long!

Have you seen my Globe In subscription box post? This is THE PERFECT GIFT for any traveler in your life or anyone who loves artisanal goods from around the world.

Happy weekend, my friends! Make it a good one 🙂

I’m sorry that you’re under the weather. That is really crappy. A lot of things are going around here too. The weather is making it hard to kill off nasty germs here. Our hospitals are full and they’re cancelling surgeries! I was supposed to get blood work done (I get it done once a month) and I’m like nope. No thanks you sick people! I’m not getting sick!
Anyways, I’d love to go to Jamaica right now. We haven’t seen the sun in forever. And sponsored posts…YAY! I also need the cashola. Always…LOL!
Feel better soon love. xoxox

Oh no, it got you, too! I really hope you feel better, hun! Get some rest, drink enough and sleep it off!

Ugh. I have been sick this week too- and have my time of the month. At the same time! The gym has just been not happening for the past week or so,lol. My routine has been out of whack… hope you feel better! Glad you found some things to keep ya going 🙂

That’s awesome about the sponsored posts! Do you reach out to people, or do you normally get offers? I’ve been trying to find ways to do more but it can be difficult.

I’m sorry you’re coming down with something! I hope you feel better soon, and enjoy your outing this weekend with your friend. 🙂

I wish I looked cute eating a pizza crust! I just look sneaky, like I’m shoving it in my mouth before anyone sees me Hahhaha.

Every now and then, I rediscover some Ani. Like the song “Overlap”! So incredibly good!
I can’t do NyQuil but I love Sudafed for my annual or bi-annual cold.
There are NASTY things going around here. Stomach bugs! Ugh!

Sorry you’ve been sick. This time of year and colds are just awful. Congrats on the sponsored posts! That’s always fun. Have a great weekend!

Hey sweets!
I hope that by now you’re either in the mend or completely over your sickies. I hope it’s the later. Getting together with Kate absolutely falls on this list. Wish you both were closer, you guys are such lovely, genuine ladies. <3

Re sponsored posts.. I need to get back in that bandwagon! Thanks for that gentle reminder to get off my duff!

Sending love, happiness and well wishes your way my dear. xoxoxox

Since I’m just finally getting around to posts from like 3 weeks ago, I’m guessing (hoping?) that you’re all better now. But I still wanted to comment because oh my gosh The Bachelor is totally making me smile this season too! It’s so insanely ridiculous that I just can’t help myself!
