Review of Simply Feet

– Posted in: product review, sponsored post

It’s not a coincidence that all of the towns I’ve lived in since college have a city center with shops and restaurants within walking distance of my apartment. Though I did have a trusty and reliable Honda Civic for a greater part of my 20s, I have since sold the old clunker and I’ve learned to get by on two feet.

Which is why I was excited when I was contacted recently by a company specializing in a wide selection of comfortable walking shoes. One can never have enough of those.

Simply Feet is an incredibly easy to navigate website where users can search by brand, foot care products, the types of activity they’ll be using the shoes for, and by any ailment he/she may have. This UK-based company works closely with healthcare professionals, which is clear by the wide variety of shoes available for patrons who suffer from achilles tendonitis, athlete’s foot, infections, and so much more.

While (thankfully) I don’t yet need orthotics, there are definitely shoes on here that are both fashionable AND comfortable, like these adorable red Weil Venice shoes which would go perfectly with
a pair of capris or leggings and an oversized sweater.

I think the Vionic Chloe Shoes in black would look really sharp with a pencil skirt and tucked-in blouse, a la Mad Men.

Running insoles are great for long-distance runners looking for a comfortable cushion. A pair of insoles can give your running shoes an extra 300 miles and much better arch support than the generic and inexpensive insole that comes available in most sneakers.

Are you a runner and have you ever tried an insole?

All opinions expressed herein are entirely my own. This post was written in collaboration with Simply Feet.

And those shoes look good. I hope they’re comfortable and affordable.

I can appreciate this more after trying to navigate NYC in cute, but not street worthy, shoes. I need to look into these for my next trip.
